After the popular Ropponmatsu spot, “Shin-chan Ramen,” closed its doors, a new place called “Men to Sake Zakio” opened in its place. I used to frequent “Shin-chan Ramen” often, enjoying their tonkotsu ramen and the famous garlic-heavy fried rice. Unfortunately, they had to close due to a staff shortage. I wonder how the owner is doing these days. With those thoughts in mind, I decided to visit the new “Men to Sake Zakio” that has taken over the space.

Umakara Miso Tsukemen is a must-try!

“Men to Sake Zakio” is known for its delicious tsukemen, and the owner highly recommends the “Umakara Miso Tsukemen.” While soy sauce and pork broth are the typical flavors for tsukemen, miso-based tsukemen is quite rare, and the spicy kick adds a unique touch. The noodles are from the famous “Keishi,” and their chewy texture pairs perfectly with the rich dipping sauce. Plus, the large portion option comes at no extra charge, which is a great bonus!
