We visited Ganso Ramen Hakata Gannaga, a shop where you can enjoy a ramen inspired by the famous “Ganso Nagahama-ya” style, right in the center of Tenjin. Although the shop is relatively new, having opened in 2018, the owner once worked at two Nagahama-style ramen restaurants. It is not an official branch, but you can definitely feel the essence of the classic Nagahama taste in each bowl.
It’s a place where you can walk in casually, grab a quick bowl, and enjoy something delicious at a very reasonable price — a rare and welcome find in Tenjin these days.
My usual order: “Bata-Nama.” Great satisfaction for just ¥500.
My go-to order is Bata-Nama — rich broth with extra fat and ultra-firm noodles, a popular style among Nagahama fans. Despite being located right in the middle of Tenjin, the price is an amazing ¥500 per bowl. You can also add an extra serving of noodles for ¥100, so you can fill up fully for just a little over one coin.

Compact counter seating — but service is fast.
The shop is compact with mainly counter seating, and the owner runs it almost entirely by himself — yet the service is surprisingly quick. Thanks to the fast turnover, you rarely have to wait in a long line.
When you enter, you first buy a meal ticket from the ticket machine. Even during busy hours, the system makes everything smooth and stress-free.
Open from morning to late night — a reliable bowl in Tenjin
The shop is open from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 a.m.. Whether it’s breakfast ramen, lunch, dinner, or a late-night bowl after drinks, this place is there for you at almost any time of day.
In the Tenjin area, it definitely feels like a reliable option when you want to grab tonkotsu ramen quickly and easily.
