Visited “Fusuku Coffee” in Ropponmatsu, a café hotspot.

The Ropponmatsu area is known for being densely packed with cafes. Within this Ropponmatsu hub, I paid a visit to “Fusuku Coffee,” an establishment highly regarded for its quality.

What’s ‘Fusuku Coffee’ like?

It seems that “Fusuku Coffee” is a cafe run by Mr. Fusuku, who is also the owner barista. The cafe was opened in the Ropponmatsu area in 2015 and moved to its current location in 2022. It’s situated on the second floor of the stylish “Ura Ropponmatsu Building.”

And astonishingly, this Mr. Fusuku participated in the Japan Hand Drip Championship 2016, securing the 1st place in Fukuoka and a remarkable 3rd place in the national competition. This guarantees an opportunity to relish genuine hand-drip coffee at “Fusuku Coffee.”

Furthermore, what surprised me even more is that they allow outside food. It’s quite uncommon to find such a cafe, isn’t it?

Stylish interior.

The stylish interior provides a relaxing space where you can unwind. With a TV mounted on the wall, you can enjoy watching, and the presence of power outlets and Wi-Fi makes it suitable for working on your laptop as well.

Everything is meticulously designed and refined, giving the impression that careful planning went into creating the atmosphere of the shop.

Power outlets are available at the seats.
The displayed paintings are also lovely.

The coffee and the food were also delicious.

Fried mackerel sandwich and cafe latte.

I had the Matsura fried mackerel sandwich! It comes with homemade soup and yogurt on the side. The set drink was iced cafe latte.

The fried mackerel sandwich had a simple and rustic taste. The real star, however, was the delicious coffee, and I believe the sandwich was there to complement it.

Sweets I enjoyed on a different day.

I also had sweets on another day, which were sweet and elegantly flavored, making them a great accompaniment to the coffee! I believe they were Chinese sweets, but I forgot the name.

Here is a photo of the menu.

If you’re coming by bicycle, there seems to be space in front of the building to park a few bikes. However, there are also plenty of bicycle parking lots around Ropponmatsu Station, so you could use those as well.
