There are many bridges that cross the Mikasagawa River, but this one is my favorite. There’s a public restroom nearby, and Ebisu-sama (the Ebisu god) welcomes you with a smile.

I like this elevated section of Fukuoka Urban Expressway. The view of the Mikasagawa River is beautiful, and it provides a sense of liberation. Among the bridges spanning the Mikasagawa River, I particularly recommend the Ebisu Bridge. The atmosphere at night is lovely, but I also enjoy the daytime ambiance. Walking here while feeling the breeze is very pleasant!
