Burger King has finally arrived in Ropponmatsu, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka! The new store opened on June 30, 2025, and I visited on the very first day. This is the third location in Fukuoka City, following the Hakata Station Chikushi Exit store and AEON Mall Kashiihama store—so it’s definitely getting attention!
Here’s What It Was Like on Opening Day!
I visited on the night of the grand opening. There was already a line out front, and it took about 30 minutes from ordering to receiving my food. I went with the “Steak Whopper Set” and a “5-piece Chicken Nugget.” Just as the rumors said, the Whopper was huge—one bite was enough to feel totally satisfied. The juicy patty and perfectly toasted buns really hit the spot. The nuggets were just as tasty as expected, too.

When it comes to Burger King, the star of the show is definitely the Whopper. Its impressive size and juicy flavor often surprise first-timers. On social media, people rave that it’s “way better than McDonald’s” and “the best bang for your buck.” With its hefty size and satisfying taste, the Whopper is perfect for anyone craving a filling burger.

Great Access! Just 1 Minute from Ropponmatsu Station
The location is excellent—just a 1-minute walk from Ropponmatsu Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line. It’s easy to stop by on your way to work or school. The area also features many cafés and cultural spots from the old Kyushu University campus redevelopment. Cyclists can use the nearby Ropponmatsu Station Bicycle Parking for easy access.
