Burger King is finally coming to Ropponmatsu, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City! The official opening date is June 30, 2025. This will be the third Burger King location in Fukuoka City, following Hakata Station (Chikushi Exit) and Aeon Mall Kashiihama. Locals are already excited!
A “Ghost Location” on Google Maps?
Interestingly, the Ropponmatsu location had already appeared on Google Maps for a while—yet there was no actual store. Locals were confused, wondering, “Is it really opening?” or “Is this a fake listing?” But now, a brand-new building finally reveals the real Burger King. We confirmed that preparations for opening are in progress.

The location is excellent—just a 1-minute walk from Ropponmatsu Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line. It’s easy to stop by on your way to work or school. The area also features many cafés and cultural spots from the old Kyushu University campus redevelopment. Cyclists can use the nearby Ropponmatsu Station Bicycle Parking for easy access.
