After completing the registration, open the app and it’s time to start riding. Head to the ChariChari port and first perform a pre-ride check on the bicycle. Is the air okay? Do the brakes work? Are the lights on? Once the checks are done, tap ‘Unlock’ in the app. Scan the QR code on the key located under the bike seat, and the lock will open.

※ For electric-assist bicycles, also check the battery level before starting your ride.

When you’re ready to end your ride, it’s a good idea to check if there is an available space to park the bicycle at the destination port. You can check the availability through the app, which will display symbols such as ○, △, or ×. To complete the ride, return the bicycle to the designated port and lock it. Is it okay to park temporarily?

Can I temporarily park my bicycle during a cycling trip, such as making a quick stop at a shop? Is temporary parking allowed with ChariChari? Yes, temporary parking is possible. By locking the bicycle in a location other than a designated port, it will automatically be considered as “temporary parking.” The app should display a screen indicating “Temporary Parking” during this time.

When resuming your cycling, you should follow the same process as when you initially started your ride. Use the app to scan the QR code and unlock the bicycle. It’s important to note that even during temporary parking, regular charges continue to apply. Be mindful not to leave the bicycle parked indefinitely as “Temporary Parking.”

How do I end the ChariChari usage?

To end your ChariChari usage, make sure to return the bicycle to the designated port at your destination and close the lock. This will officially mark the completion of your usage. It’s a good idea to confirm the completion on the app screen after you’ve finished. Additionally, please keep in mind that the maximum usage time is 24 hours, so be sure to return the bicycle within that timeframe.
