Located on the first floor of the popular new spot, Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City, The CRAFT Bar and Grill is a stylish restaurant bar themed around New American cuisine. With a scenic view of the lush lawn laid out on the grounds of the former Daimyo Elementary School and an interior boasting high ceilings, this space is perfect for celebrating special occasions. Operated by the renowned HUGE Group, which has gained popularity in Tokyo, this marks their first location in Kyushu. Offering a luxurious yet casual ambiance, it’s ideal for dates, anniversaries, family and friends’ gatherings, or even visits with your beloved dog.
A Memorable Anniversary Experience
For our anniversary dinner, I visited The CRAFT Bar and Grill with my girlfriend. This was my second time dining here, and on both occasions, we enjoyed truly special moments together.
Coincidentally, a Christmas market was being held just outside the restaurant, adding to the festive and romantic atmosphere, which made our date even more extraordinary. The CRAFT Bar and Grill is an excellent starting point for a date in Tenjin. The ability to easily make reservations through their dedicated app and adjust plans at the last minute is another great convenience.
Dishes Ordered and Recommended Menu
This time, we ordered the following dishes and drinks:
- The CRAFT Appetizer Mist for Two (assorted appetizers)
- Garlic Shrimp
- Garlic Toast
- The CRAFT Coke (non-alcoholic cocktail)
- Virgin Mojito (non-alcoholic cocktail)
The assorted appetizer plate is a luxurious selection that lets you savor various flavors. It’s perfect for sharing on a date.
The Garlic Shrimp features plump shrimp seasoned to perfection. It pairs wonderfully with the toast, making it a favorite for my girlfriend, who absolutely loved it. With its high quality fit for special occasions and surprisingly reasonable prices compared to hotel restaurants, this spot is a hidden gem for a memorable dining experience.
Be Sure to Check Out the French Toast!
The “Drinkable French Toast,” available from 3 PM, is a limited and highly popular menu item. Whether you enjoy it as a dessert or for a light café break, it’s a must-try. Although I haven’t had the chance to try it yet, I’m planning to on my next visit. Also, the coffee here is excellent and worth tasting!
